How long do Twitch VODs last?
Twitch doesn’t keep past broadcasts forever. Depending on the channel, VODs are deleted after 7, 14 or 60 days – here’s the overview and how to keep the ones that matter.

Past broadcasts are only saved at all if the streamer has Store past broadcasts turned on in their Twitch settings. When the time is up, the VOD is deleted automatically.
What about highlights and uploads?
Highlights and uploads don’t expire after a set number of days. But since April 2025, Twitch limits them to 100 hours of storage per channel. Channels above the limit have to delete older videos to make room.
How to keep your VODs
